Arjun Kapoor Spills Beans On No Entry 2: ‘Still In Early Stages, But Looking Forward To It’

Arjun Kapoor expressed his excitement about exploring the comedy genre and that there was no better feeling than making people laugh.

Arjun Kapoor is currently on a promotional spree for his upcoming romantic comedy film Mere Husband Ki Biwi. As the film inches closer to its theatrical release, the lead actor is pulling out all the stops with co-stars Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh to keep the excitement soaring. Well, during the promotions, the actor sat for a media interaction in the national capital, Delhi, where he was asked about his highly anticipated film No Entry 2, directed by Anees Bazmee.

During the conversation, Arjun Kapoor revealed that there was still time for the comedy project. He further expressed his excitement about exploring the comedy genre and that there was no better feeling than making people laugh. The actor recalled that he has done action, drama, and a few comedies, emphasizing how comedy remains a favourite among family audiences, whether it is combined with romance or drama.

He said that No Entry 2 was still in the early stages but hoped it would go on floors soon. “Aur jab details de paunga tab dunga lekin ji haan (I will give more details when I can, but yes). I am looking forward to doing more comedies after Mere Husband Ki Biwi.”

Expressing his joy in making people laugh, he added, “Agar aap logon ko hasa sake ek saath baith ke, usse acchi feeling kuch hoti nahi (If you can make people laugh while sitting together, there is no better feeling than that).”

In the same conversation, Arjun also expressed enthusiasm about his collaboration with director Anees Bazmee on Mubarakan.

Coming to his upcoming project Mere Husband Ki Biwi, the romantic comedy is directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Jackky Bhagnani and Vashu Bhagnani under the banner of Pooja Entertainment. As the title suggests, the rom-com movie depicts a modern love story packed with unexpected twists. The plot follows Ankur (played by Arjun), his love connection with his wife Antara and girlfriend Prabhleen, which results in a chaotic situation that turns his life upside down. Mark your calendars! Mere Husband Ki Biwi is all set to hit the theatres on February 21.
