
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his son and IT Minister Nara Lokesh cast their votes in the elections for Krishna – Guntur graduates constituency of the A.P. Legislative Council in the Zilla Parishad High School at Undavalli in Guntur district on Thursday (February 27, 2025).
Chief Electoral Officer Vivek Yadav inspected the voting process at a polling station in Patamata in Vijayawada city and another one at Tadepalli in Guntur district.
Polling began at 8 a.m. as per schedule amidst tight security arrangements in six districts namely Eluru, Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Bapatla and Palnadu districts.
The Telugu Desam Party’s Alapati Rajendra Prasad (former MLA) and K.S. Lakshman Rao of the Progressive Democratic Front are the main candidates in the fray.
