PMK president Anbumani Ramadoss on Thursday condemned the State government’s proposal to allow private operators to ply mini buses in zones such as Sholinganallur, Alandur, Ambattur, among others.
In a statement citing the media reports, he said that allowing private operators was not acceptable.
The move has to be seen as a step towards privatisation of Transport Corporations, Mr. Anbumani said.
