Ameesha Patel shares video proof after Gadar 2 director Anil Sharma denies changing the film’s climax.
Ameesha Patel has escalated her ongoing dispute with Gadar 2 director Anil Sharma by presenting video evidence after he dismissed her claims about a changed climax in the Sunny Deol starrer. The actress took to her X account to share multiple clips where Sharma is seen narrating the climax, explicitly stating that her character, Sakina, would be the one to kill the villain after he enters India illegally.
Reacting to Sharma’s recent interview, where he denied altering the film’s ending without her knowledge, Ameesha wrote, “Wonder what he has to say when there is a video in circulation where @Anilsharma_dir is openly talking to me and narrating that I will kill the villain!! Since you might have missed it!! I will share it on Twitter.”
She then posted three videos as proof, captioning the first one, “Part 1—of the video where @Anilsharma_dir is openly talking and narrating to me that I will kill the villain in Gadar 2 in the climax!! Posting Part 2 and Part 3 of the video as well!! I wonder how @Anilsharma_dir can now claim anything else! The video is proof.”
Following up with two more videos, she directly called out Sharma, demanding an explanation. In her third post, she wrote, “@Anilsharma_dir, please reply to everyone about this video!! The world knows the truth!! How will you deny it when the video is proof of your fraudulent promise??”
For those unfamiliar with the controversy, Anil Sharma recently addressed Ameesha Patel’s allegations in an interview with Vickey Lalwani, insisting that the film’s climax was never changed without her consent. The filmmaker maintained that Ameesha was always treated as part of the Gadar family and recalled how she would spend hours preparing for the role of Sakina.
Sharma further commented on her casting, stating that Ameesha was chosen because she suited the role visually but was not initially considered a strong performer. However, he acknowledged her dedication in embodying Sakina’s character. Regarding her allegations, he dismissed them, saying, “If she has that much understanding, then she is free to make a film. It’s an open market. Who is stopping her?”
