Alia Bhatt will star alongside Sharvari in YRF’s first film from their spyverse, Alpha. The actors have been toiling hard at their workout sessions to fit perfectly into the roles in the first-ever female actioner. Ever since the film’s announcement, the makers have only teased fans with minimal updates about the film. Alia, too, dropped a hint about a character. And trust us you, it will only make your wait harder.
Alia recently hosted a meet-and-greet session for her fans where she teased fans about Alpha. During an interactive Q&A session, a fan asked the actor which character would she choose to live for a day. Without much thinking, she quickly responded, “The best one is always the next one,” hinting at her much-anticipated role in Alpha.
Reportedly, Alia has undergone rigorous training to bring about a fierce avatar to her character. A source close to the film told Hindustan Times, “Alia has started shooting for Alpha on July 5th. The film presents her in a never-seen-before avatar. She has trained for about four months to prepare herself to play a super agent. She has five to six major action sequences in the film and she needs to be at her fittest best. Alia has pushed her body to a breaking point because she has to look ruthless on screen.”
Alia and Sharvari announced Alpha in 2024 with a joint post. The background audio featured Alia saying, “Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla akshar. Aur humare programme ka motto.. sabse pehle, sabse tezz, sabs veer. Dhyaan se dekho toh har sheher mein ek jungle hai. Aur jungle mein hamesha Raj karega..ALPHA!”
Alpha is directed by Shiv Rawail, known for his involvement in projects such as The Railway Men, Fan and Dhoom 3. A majority of the film has been shot in Kashmir. As per sources, Hrithik Roshan and Bobby Deol will be a part of the film.
