Alia Bhatt joined her mother, Soni Razdan, and sister, Shaheen Bhatt, to celebrate their grandmother Gertrude Hoelzer’s 96th birthday. On February 17, Razdan took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post with unseen pictures of Hoelzer, marking the special occasion.
Soni Razdan’s post featured a series of photos, including a vintage image of Hoelzer in a bikini, followed by two more pictures of the birthday girl. One of the standout moments was a recent photograph of Alia and Shaheen posing with their ‘nani.’ While Shaheen opted for an all-black outfit, Alia was seen donning a purple chikankari kurta as she embraced her grandmother.
Sharing the pictures, Soni wrote, “When we reminded Mummy that she is 96 today, her first reaction was, ‘Oh, not very old then!’ Happy Birthday, gorgeous Mummy. May you continue to think young and live long.”
The post quickly garnered attention from Bollywood celebrities. Heeramandi actress Aditi Rao Hydari commented, “So stunning! Happy birthday to her and many happy healthy years,” while Sussanne Khan’s sister, Farah Khan Ali, wrote, “Happy happy birthday to your super gorgeous mom.”
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt is gearing up for Alpha, the seventh installment in YRF’s Spy Universe. Directed by Shiv Rawail, it is the first female-led film in the franchise, starring Alia alongside Sharvari. The action thriller also features Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Ashutosh Rana, who recently confirmed his return as Colonel Sunil Luthra. Alpha is set to release on December 25, 2025.
