Naturally, fans have been eagerly waiting to see them collaborate again. Recently, Alia openly expressed her desire to reunite with SRK on screen, and honestly, we’re manifesting this too!
At a recent fan meet-and-greet event in Mumbai, Alia had a heartfelt interaction with her admirers. When one fan asked about her dream co-star or someone she would love to work with again, she didn’t hesitate—naming Shah Rukh Khan. She spoke about his magnetic presence, vast experience, and the incredible energy he brings to every set, making it clear that another project with him is high on her wish list.
Their on-screen pairing in Dear Zindagi (2016), directed by Gauri Shinde, won hearts. Alia played Kaira, a young woman navigating life’s struggles, while Shah Rukh’s character, Dr. Jug, helped her find clarity. The film’s heartfelt storytelling and the duo’s performances earned widespread acclaim. Since then, their paths have continued to cross—Alia had a cameo in SRK’s Zero, while he made a special appearance in her fantasy film Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva. Additionally, they joined forces as producers for Darlings, Alia’s debut production venture.
Meanwhile, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress made sure her recent fan meet-and-greet was a memorable affair. Fans from across India gathered at a Mumbai restaurant to meet their favorite star, capturing moments through selfies, videos, and autographs. Adding a personal touch, Alia curated special gift hampers for each guest and even handpicked the menu for the luncheon.
The feast featured an array of mouthwatering appetizers, including Kung Pao Potatoes, Wild Mushroom Gyoza, Burrata ala Citron, Spicy Garlic Edamame, Jalapeno & Cheese Poppers, Rock Tomorokoshi Tempura, Veg Nachos, and Chicken Gyoza. Her staple favorites—French Fries, Pizza Margherita, and Mac & Cheese—were also part of the spread. The main course boasted Spicy Pasta, Thai Green Curry (both vegetarian and chicken versions), and Heartichoke Pizza. To round off the meal, Alia chose decadent desserts like Strawberry Cheesecake Gelato, Dark Chocolate Gelato, Bread Pudding, and the comforting Moong Dal Halwa.
