Alia Bhatt has found her latest cinematic obsession, and it’s none other than Vicky Kaushal’s impressive performance in Chhaava! The actress took to social media to shower praises on Vicky, confessing that she simply can’t get over his acting in the historical drama. Ever since Chhaava released in theatres on February 14, 2025, Kaushal has been receiving praises and love from the audiences and celebs alike. The film is also doing great business at the box office.

Alia, who has worked with Vicky Kaushal before in Raazi, took to her Instagram handle to re-share a post of Chhaava. Praising the film, she wrote, “Vicky Kaushal! What are you???? Cannot get over your performance in Chaava! @vickykaushal09.”

Helmed by Laxman Utekar and backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Chhaava boasts a stellar cast alongside Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna. The film also features Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb and Diana Penty as his daughter, Zinat-un-Nissa Begum.

Vicky steps into the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika portrays his wife, Yesubai Bhonsale. Adding to the film’s appeal is the mesmerizing music and background score composed by the legendary AR Rahman.

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Chhaava earned Rs 24.50 crore on its fifth day, bringing its total collection to Rs 165 crore. While the film has maintained a double-digit hold, its earnings have declined compared to previous days.
