Legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor’s grandson Aadar Jain tied the knot to his longtime girlfriend Alekha Advani in a dreamy beachside yet intimate wedding in Goa on January 12, surrounded by their loved ones. In the third week of February, they hosted their pre-wedding ceremonies, leading to a grand wedding as per Hindu rituals in Mumbai on Friday, February 21. The pre-wedding events and marriage ceremony were also attended by Bollywood’s ‘IT’ couple, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
In a video on Instagram, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor can be serving pure ‘sanskari bahu beta’ goals. The beautiful moment was captured at Aadar Jain and Aleka Advani’s mehendi and sangeet ceremony. In the clip, Raha Kapoor’s parents were seen adorably meeting and greeting their elders, who graced the event.
The video began with Alia entering the frame while asking one of the attendees at her brother-in-law’s pre-wedding ceremony, if they have eaten the meal. Following this, she can be seen touching the feet of the elders being seated over there in the entire row one after the other and even hugging them. Not only this, beside the actress, we could also spot her husband, Ranbir approaching the elders with similar affection and getting their blessings. While not much is understandable about who all was seated in the row, we could get a glimpse of Kareena Kapoor and Karishma Kapoor’s father, Randhir Kapoor over there.
The video striked chords with Alia and Ranbir’s fans and they started flooding the comment section by lauding the sanskari couple. One social media user wrote, “The way she touched everyone’s feet,” followed by a red heart. Another mentioned, “Sweet …y h sanskar good one family’ kapoor family.” One more person added, “I loved it as they respect their elders and love younger ones…..family goals.” “Isse kehte hai Bhartiya Sanskar (This is called Indian culture),” read another comment.
For the mehendi and sangeet event, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress picked a yellow-hued sharara set. It included a shimmery short kurta featuring a deep round neckline with thin straps. Alia teamed it with a matching pair of pants and a dupatta, which she tucked on her left shoulder. Glam makeup and a nested braid added stars to her overall look. While for accessories, she chose golden danglers and looked pretty.
On the other hand, Alia’s doting husband looked dapper in a white kurta paired with matching pants. Ranbir also wore a buttoned johar coat to amp up his look. A pair of jootis and a trimmed hairdo finished off his entire appearance.
