Ajith Kumar met with an accident while training for an upcoming racing event. The incident occurred during a high-speed practice session, resulting in significant damage to his vehicle. Fortunately, the actor emerged unscathed. Ajith, an avid motorsport enthusiast, recently delivered a smashing hit at the box office with his latest release, Vidaamuyarchi.
Ajith has been in Portugal ahead of a massive motorsport racing event in Estoril. While he was training for the same, he met with an accident during one of his training sessions on the tracks for the upcoming sprint challenge. Although his car was damaged, the senior actor was quickly rescued and remained completely unharmed.
Following the tense incident, AK spoke briefly in an interview. The senior actor described it as a “minor accident” and expressed gratitude that everyone was safe and sound. He also extended heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of love and support he received afterward.
He said, “We are having a good time again. We got into a minor accident. Fortunately, nothing happened to anyone. We will win the car race again and establish our pride. We would like to thank the friends who supported us during the accident.”
This marks the second time Ajith Kumar has faced a racing mishap. Previously, during a practice session for the Dubai 24H racing event, his car lost control and collided with the boundary.

His latest release, Vidaamuyarchi, has emerged as a box office sensation, raking in an impressive Rs 62 crore within just four days of its release. The Magizh Thirumeni directorial had fallen prey to piracy within hours of release. Yet, the film’s strong performance continues to captivate audiences, cementing its success early on.
