Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Chhaava, a periodical drama, is all set to release on February 14, 2025. The film promotions are going on in full swing. Well, now a report is coming in that Ajay Devgn might be adding his powerful voice to the film. Pinkvilla has exclusively reported that the actor has been roped to do a voiceover.
Pinkvilla quoted sources saying that Dinesh Vijan and Laxman Utekar have roped in Ajay Devgn to do a voiceover in Chhaava. “Ajay Devgn is among the very few actors of Indian Cinema who has the power to influence the audience with just his voice. His dialogue delivery, especially in the intense space, can elevate the impact of the scenes on the big screen. When Dinesh Vijan and Laxman Utekar requested him to do a voiceover in Chhaava, the actor instantly agreed to do the same,” revealed a source close to the development.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has asked for a few tweaks in Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s much-anticipated film Chhaava. The duo has been actively promoting Chhaava which is all set for a theatrical release on February 14. Ahead of that, it has been reported that the CBFC has made a few modifications. One of the key changes? The muting of the word ‘haramz*ada’ for a smoother theatrical release!

During a recent promotional event, Vicky Kaushal spoke passionately about the significance of Chhaava and why the story needs to be told. Addressing an electrified crowd, Vicky declared, “Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila.” (It is my great fortune that I got the opportunity to portray Chhatrapati Maharaj.) “I am very grateful to Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijay Sir for choosing me for this role. Hamari ek hi koshish hai ki Maharashtra mein to sabko pata hai, bacche-bacchon ko pata hai. Par poori duniya mein, ghar-ghar mein bacche-bacchon ko pata lagna chahiye ki humare raje kaise the?” (While people in Maharashtra know this history well, it is important that every child in every household across the country, and even around the world, learns about the legacy of our great kings.)
With its epic battle sequences, larger-than-life storytelling, and powerhouse performances, Chhaava is shaping up to be one of the most significant historical films of the year.
