AICTE-IDE boot camp stresses on innovation

Capital is not the only investment in business, but ideas themselves can be transformed into valuable assets, observed former Chairman of CII Andhra Pradesh and CEO of Better Castings J.S.R.K. Prasad.

He addressed the gathering at the AICTE-IDE Boot Camp, aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students, which successfully concluded on Friday at RVR & JC College of Engineering, Chandramoulipuram-Chowdavaram. The five-day event was organized in collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Innovation Council, with the support of Wadhwani Foundation.

On this occasion, Mr. Prasad emphasized the need for students to embrace innovative thinking. He urged them to approach challenges as opportunities and leverage technology for growth. Mr. Prasad also lauded the college management and faculty for their efforts in promoting quality education and fostering a culture of innovation.

Throughout the boot camp, students from various institutions across different States showcased their innovative project prototypes. They received expert guidance on entrepreneurship, start-up development and the various stages of innovation. The camp provided a valuable platform for students to exchange ideas and enhance their technical and entrepreneurial skills.

Participants expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning and mentorship. During the closing ceremony, outstanding student teams were awarded certificates and mementos in recognition of their exceptional performances.

Special guest Phani Ram Nagaraju encouraged students to contribute to building a progressive society through creative problem-solving and innovative thinking.

Dr. Rayapati Srinivas, President of RVR & JC College, along with Vice President Jagarlamudi Muralimohan, Dr. Jagadeesh K. Maddineni, Secretary & Correspondent Rayapati Gopalakrishna, and Treasurer Dr. Kondabolu Krishna Prasad, extended their gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the national-level IDE Boot Camp.
