Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan’s big-screen debut film ‘Loveyapa’, so-starring Khushi Kapoor, released in theatres on 7th February. Now, Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan has heaped praise on her brother ‘Junnu’ after watching him on the big screen in the film. She shared a few photos from the theatre, posing with Aamir and Junaid, and lauded the entire cast for doing such a great job. Moved by their emotional scenes, she playfully called Junaid and Khushi ‘good on-screen cryers’, and urged people to watch the film in theatres.

Ira Khan took to her Instagram on Saturday to share a few pictures from the theatre after watching Loveyapa. In her caption, she wrote, “Junnu on the big screen!! If you knew Junaid personally, you’d realize just how good of an actor he is playing this role! The whole cast has done a great job. Genuinely. From the little roles to the big ones! Junaid and @khushikapoor are such good on-screen cry-ers! Go watch Loveyappa in theatres now!!” Reacting to Ira’s post, Khushi Kapoor dropped red heart emojis, while Akshay Oberoi commented, “Woohooo.” Check it out below!

The first picture shows her posing with Junaid Khan outside the theatre, happily pointing at Junaid, as well as the poster of Loveyapa. While Ira donned a black tank top, red printed skirt and a beige scarf, Junaid looked dapper in a black tee, matching leather jacket and denim jeans. In another picture, she is seen posing with Aamir Khan, who also attended the screening of Loveyapa. The superstar donned a casual white printed kurta with jeans.

Directed by Advait Chandan (Laal Singh Chaddha), Loveyapa hit the big screens on February 7, 2025. The film, produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment, is a remake of the 2022 Tamil hit Love Today. Apart from Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, the film also features Kiku Sharda, Grusha Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, Devishi Mandan, Aaditya Kulshreshth, Nikhil Mehta, Jason Tham, among others. The film explores the quirks of modern relationships, with the story taking a dramatic turn when the couple exchanges phones, exposing hidden secrets and challenges.
