GOT7’s Jackson Wang has been embroiled time and again in multiple controversies for all the wrong reasons. Doing it yet again, Jackson is going viral after asking for a vape during his appearance on a popular YouTube channel’s stream. The GOT7 star recently joined the YouTube page yb, a clip of which has gained traction on the internet. At one moment, Jackson could be seen politely asking if he could try the vape held by the others in the room, even inquiring about the vape brand.
Later, he not only took the vape in his hand but also tried it for a brief period, leaving others excited, with one of them commenting, “It felt like a kiss.”
The video has been widely shared across multiple social media platforms, garnering a lot of reactions. While many were critical of idols indulging in smoking and vaping activities, a section of other fans shared different opinions on it. One wrote, “How can??? I don’t know if someone can be like this the way he is actually asking and willingly wants to try ‘someone’s’ vape,” while another added, “I hope people aren’t surprised by Jackson vaping; that’s been a thing for a couple of years already lol.”

“He needs to be careful with taking things from other people. Vape is not good for him because of his voice,” a comment read.
One of the fans strongly asserted, “Stop worrying about idols who are over age 18 vaping or smoking. They’re adults, and it’s their choice… NOT YOURS. You don’t own them and have NO right to say anything. It’s one thing to want them to be healthy; I get it, I do, but it’s their choice and NOT anyone’s business.”
On the work front, Jackson Wang is reportedly set to visit India in May this year to collaborate with an Indian artist. According to an Elle report, the K-pop artist would likely join forces with Sooraj Cherukat. The GOT7 member previously performed at the Lollapalooza India Music Festival in 2023, when he expressed his respect for India and Bollywood.
While Jackson recently released a single, High Alone, he is also scheduled to drop the upcoming album, MAGIC MAN 2 later this year.
