Ananya Panday has found herself a new travel “buddy” and no, it is not who you might be thinking. The actress took to her Instagram Stories to share a glimpse of her latest companion – a book. The Gehraiyaan actor is known to be an avid reader and often shares what’s on her reading list. Whether she is flying to a new destination or just chilling between her busy schedule, she has always got the perfect read to keep her entertained.
This time to get through March, Ananya has opted for Agatha Christie’s classic Death on the Nile. Looks like her journey will be filled with mystery, suspense and obviously detective Hercule Poirot’s brilliance.
Along with the snap of the book, Ananya shared a caption that reads, “Travel buddy this March.” Her latest post proves once again that a good book is the best company.
Ananya was recently spotted with Siddhant Chaturvedi at an outdoor location. Their picture is doing rounds on the internet which has sparked a fresh speculation about a new project. The two were seen surrounded by cameras and crew members. Though nothing has been officially announced, the leaked pictures have left fans wondering if they are reuniting for another film.
The duo first worked together in Shakun Batra’s 2022 romantic drama Gehraiyaan which premiered on Amazon Prime Video. The film, backed by Karan Johar, also starred Deepika Padukone and Dhairya Karwa. Their next project together was Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, a coming-of-age comedy-drama directed by Arjun Varain Singh.
As for what’s next, Ananya has a packed schedule. She will be seen in Kesari Chapter 2 where she stars alongside Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan. Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, it is based on the story of lawyer C Sankaran Nair who fought an ‘unprecedented battle’ against the British Empire in the 1920s after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. It is set to hit theatres on April 18.
Apart from that, Ananya also has Chand Mera Dil, a romantic drama with Lakshya, directed by Vivek Soni. The film is scheduled to be released later this year. In addition, she will be teaming up with Kartik Aaryan for Tu Meri Main Tera and returning for Call Me Bae Season 2 later this year.
