
Sara Ali Khan calls Ibrahim Ali Khan a star as he debuts with Nadaaniyan, says she’ll always be his “loudest cheerleader.”

Sara Ali Khan couldn’t be prouder as her younger brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan, makes his much-awaited Bollywood debut with Netflix’s Nadaaniyan. Starring alongside Khushi Kapoor, Ibrahim’s big-screen journey officially began with a grand premiere at a suburban Mumbai theatre. The event was attended by Bollywood’s biggest names, including close friends and family of the cast.
Sara was front and center, cheering the loudest for Ibrahim throughout the premiere. The actress later took to Instagram to share a heartwarming video from the event, welcoming her brother to the world of cinema with an emotional message.
She wrote, “My Baby Brother! @iakpataudi I promise to forever have your back and be your loudest cheerleader. You were always a star in my eyes… and now, God willing, the whole world will see you shine, glow, explode. Happiest Birthday and welcome to the Movies. This is just the beginning…”
Ibrahim’s debut coincided with his 24th birthday, making the celebration even more special. Sara also posted a series of pictures on her Instagram Story, capturing moments from his birthday festivities. She wrote, “Happiest Birthday Brother mine, It’s now your time to sparkle and shine.”
Nadaaniyan is a romantic comedy set against the backdrop of a law school, with Ibrahim and Khushi playing young lovers whose relationship evolves over time. The film marks the directorial debut of Shauna Gautam and is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Alongside the lead pair, the film features seasoned actors Suniel Shetty, Mahima Chaudhry, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj, portraying the parents of the protagonists.
While Nadaaniyan marks Ibrahim’s first step into Bollywood, he already has two more exciting projects in the pipeline. He will next be seen in Sarzameen, a Dharma Productions film starring Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Additionally, he is working on Diler, produced by Maddock Films, where he stars opposite Sreeleela.
