Over the years, Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra have entertained audiences with their impressive performances. However, despite their shared Bollywood journey, the cousins have never collaborated on a film. In a recent interview, Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra, reacted to the possibility of the two working together and expressed her hope that it happens someday.
Speaking to Lehren Retro, Madhu Chopra was asked whether Parineeti faced any resistance from her family when she chose to enter the film industry. She revealed that the family was fully supportive of her decision, especially after Priyanka paved the way. “Once Priyanka came, it was like a world opening up,” she shared, adding that the family embraced Parineeti’s choice wholeheartedly.
Madhu also highlighted a special connection between the Chopra girls and Bollywood, suggesting that there is an inevitable pull toward the industry. “There is some sort of magnet between them and the film industry,” she said, praising both Parineeti and Priyanka for their talent and dedication. She further lauded Parineeti’s acting skills, calling her a ‘director’s geeli matti’, meaning a natural performer who can mold herself into any role.
When asked about the possibility of the sisters sharing screen space, Madhu Chopra responded enthusiastically, “Aapke muh me laddu! I hope so.”
Meanwhile, on the personal front, Priyanka Chopra recently attended her brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding in February 2025, accompanied by husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie. Parineeti Chopra also attended the functions with her husband, politician Raghav Chadha.
On the professional front, Priyanka has begun shooting for SS Rajamouli’s jungle adventure alongside Mahesh Babu in Hyderabad. Parineeti, on the other hand, is set to make her OTT debut with a mystery thriller series on Netflix. Starring alongside Soni Razdan, Jennifer Winget, and Tahir Raj Bhasin, the actress teased the project with a cryptic message: “Some mysteries don’t just unfold – they pull you in, keep you guessing, and refuse to let go.”
