Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are expecting their first child together. On Friday, the couple took to Instagram to share a joint post sharing the good news with their fans. While this is Kiara’s first pregnancy, she once spoke about becoming a mother and shared that she wants one girl and one boy.
Back in 2019, when Kiara Advani was promoting Jugjugg Jeeyo, the actress was asked about her thoughts on pregnancy. As reported by KoiMoi, Kiara confessed she wanted to have babies only so that she could eat without thinking twice. “I only want to get pregnant so that I can eat whatever I want and let go,” she admitted.
When she was asked if she would ever want twins and whether she wanted a baby girl or a baby boy, Kiara replied, “I just want two healthy children that God will gift me.” She added that she would want to have one boy and one girl.
Well, finally, Kiara and Sidharth’s ‘gift’ is here. Today, Kiara and Sidharth shared a picture on Instagram in which they were seen holding a pair of baby socks. “The greatest gift of our lives👼 Coming soon ❤️🧿🙏🏻 (sic),” the caption read.
Kiara and Sidharth’s announcement left everyone excited. Soon after the post was shared, several of their industry colleagues rushed to the comments section to congratulate the couple. “Congrats guys! And bless up, lil one! Safe journey 😁🧿,” wrote Ishaan Khatter. Sharvari also commented, “Congratulations ❤️❤️”. “Congratulations u guys ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ best news ever,” Neha Dhupia’s comment read. Among others, Huma Qureshi, Rhea Kapoor and Vikram Phadnis also sent wishes to Kiara and Sidharth.
Kiara and Sidharth tied the knot on February 7, 2023, at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer. It was an intimate ceremony with only family members and close friends in attendance. However, the couple hosted a mega star-studded reception later in Mumbai. Meanwhile, on the work front, Kiara will soon be seen in Don 3 with Ranveer Singh. On the other hand, Sidharth is currently shooting for Param Sundari.
