Actor Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha, recently opened up about her unique and lively childhood, describing it as nothing short of “complete and utter madness.” Growing up alongside her mother’s adopted daughters, Pooja and Chaya, as well as her younger brother Ranbirvardhan, Rasha recalled how their family dynamic was filled with chaos, love, and sibling rivalries.
Raveena, who was just 21 when she adopted Pooja and Chaya in 1995, later married film distributor Anil Thadani in 2004, and together, they welcomed Rasha and Ranbirvardhan. Speaking with Femina, Rasha shared how the four siblings naturally split into teams when it came to their playful arguments. “Chaya didi and Ranbir are perhaps a little calmer, but Pooja didi and I? We fight and argue as a team against them. It’s absolute madness.”
Despite the chaos, the bond between the siblings remains unbreakable, much like the one Raveena has shared with her daughters over the years. In a 2016 interview with Hindustan Times, Raveena reflected on their relationship, saying, “My daughters are my best friends. When I got married, they were the ones who sat in the car and led me to the mandap. And now, I had the chance to walk them down the aisle. It’s such a special feeling.”
While Chaya pursued a career as an air hostess and Pooja became an event manager, Rasha recently stepped into the world of Bollywood. She made her debut with Azaad, a period drama produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor. The film, set in pre-Independence India, focused on themes of love, loyalty, and courage, centering on a 19-year-old Govind and his extraordinary bond with a horse amidst the backdrop of dacoits and zamindars. Released on January 17, the film, however, failed to generate the expected response at the box office.
