The daughter of a woman employee of a private college in Thanjavur received the sanction orders of monthly assistance under the social security scheme of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation. The sanction order was handed over to the beneficiary during the Special Service Fortnight, being observed at all the ESIC offices along with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation. The beneficiary would receive ₹4,061 a month under the Dependant Benefit scheme, according to an ESIC release.
