Jesus Guerrero, a celebrated hairstylist who is known for working with A-list stars like Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lopez, passed away at 34. His family confirmed the tragic news through a series of Instagram Stories posted on February 23. In a GoFundMe page, his sister, Gris, expressed her deep shock and sorrow, revealing that his death was “sudden and unexpected.” As tributes for the celebrated hairstylist continue to pour in from his near and dear ones, Kim and Khloe Kardashian have also taken to social media to honour Jesus.
On February 24, the Skims founder took to her Instagram Stories to express her grief over the sudden demise of the hairstylist who had worked with her sister Kylie since 2019. She shared a heartfelt tribute, reflecting on the deep bonds the Kardashians share with their close-knit “glam fam.” On the emotional note, the 44-year-old socialite said, “Our glam fam means the world to us. We work together, vacation and celebrate our lives together! Our great respect for the art of hair and make-up has (led) us to meeting some of the kindest souls and made some of our bestest friends.”
“So when one of our glam family members passes away all of our souls are crushed. My heart breaks for Kylie and everyone who loved Jesus the way we all did,” Kim continued, adding, “I’m praying for his family, his loved ones and the whole beauty community who feels this deep loss of one of the most talented and kindest to ever do it! Rest in peace, @jesushair.” Along with the note, Kim also posted a picture of Jesus Guerrero sitting beside a pregnant Kylie. The photo also featured other Kardashian family members and their hair and make-up team.
Khloe reshared her sister Kim’s post on her Instagram Stories, echoing the same feelings of grief and admitting that she was at a loss for words. She wrote, “I couldn’t find the words this weekend but this is exactly how we all feel. We become a family with our glam teams, and we share so much of our lives with them. We are also intertwined and in love with one another. This is such an incredibly deep loss.”
Kylie Jenner, with whom the late hairstylist had worked primarily, has yet to speak about the tragic demise of her close friend. However, People quoted an insider who shared that the reality TV star is “shocked and very upset.” But she is doing everything in her capacity “to be supportive and aid his family, including financially.”
