The Srisailam temple management started distribution of one free laddu to each devotee who has darshan of the Lord Mallikarjuna and Goddess Bhramaramba from Monday, and it will go on till February 27.
The presiding deities of Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba were taken out on a celestial ride on Pushpa Pallaki in the temple town in the night.
Governor S. Abdul Naseer on Monday reached Srisailam to offer prayers at the temple on the occasion of the ongoing Mahasivaratri Brahmotsavams. He was accorded a grand welcome at the helipad at Sunnipenta by the district and temple officials.
