Renu Chopra recently praised Shah Rukh Khan’s generosity, and revealed that he backed her son Abhay Chopra’s film ‘Ittefaq’ without even reading the script. She recalled that SRK also refused to charge interest, saying that it is ‘haraam’. She told Pinkvilla, “I said I do not have money to invest, and he said he will do it. I told him baaki mere bacche poori tarah se dil laga ke picture banayenge. (I told him my children will put their hearts into making the movie). It was my younger son’s debut film Ittefaq. SRK said okay without reading the script. His funda was, ‘I’ll never back the horse, I’ll back the jockey’. He said if your son is backing it, I’ll back it.”
Kangana Ranaut has indirectly criticised Sanya Malhotra starrer ‘Mrs.’ by penning a long note on Instagram where she urged people to stop generalising Indian joint families and demonising elderly people. The actress also rejected the idea of comparing homemakers to paid workers, saying that the fulfilment of building a home and raising children should not be equated with forced labour.

Aamir Khan recently said he feels down for weeks when his films fail. At the ABP Network’s Ideas of India 2025 event, Aamir, who sees himself as an “emotional person,” shared, “When my films don’t work, I feel sad. Filmmaking is tough, and sometimes things don’t go as planned. In Laal Singh Chaddha, my performance was a bit too high, and it didn’t work as well as Tom Hanks’ version.” Aamir went on to add, “When my films fail, I go into a sort of depression for two to three weeks. Then, I sit with my team, analyze what went wrong, and learn from it. I really value my failures because they push me to do better.”
