Avinash Tiwari is a big-time foodie. Just like us, the actor also ensures that he secured the best deal on the food delivery platforms. Despite this, he ended up spending the biggest chunk of money — almost close to the cost of the car he purchased two years back, on ordering food. A video going viral showcases the actor talking about his expenditure and the reason behind the same.
Asked about where he spent most of his fortune, Avinash Tiwari said, “I swear to god, I bought a car last year. In the last two years, my biggest expense which has almost crossed my car price is the two food delivery platforms. How is this possible, kind of a feeling.”
When asked about his mother’s reaction to the same, the actor added that she would have beaten him if she knew about his food expenses. Shedding light on the reason behind the same, he revealed that people in the industry are particular about the restaurants where they are ordering their meals from. Ensuring that they are being served food from their preferred choice of eatery, he is forced to order from the expensive restaurants which is why the huge expenses.
As for his choice, Avinash prefers going for deals while ordering food in a bid to save money. The actor said that keeps looking for offers and even a small amount makes a huge difference to him. “I really believe and I am proud of it. I have 4-5 credit cards only to grab offers on the platforms.”
On the work front, Avinash Tiwary is set to begin shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s next project alongside Aditi Rao Hydari. The film, touted to be a deeply intense love story, will go on floors in Mumbai on February 25. The upcoming film marks another exciting collaboration between Imtiaz and Avinash after Laila Majnu (2018).
A source, speaking to Hauterrfly, revealed, “Avinash Tiwary and Aditi Rao Hydari starrer Imtiaz Ali film is all set to go on floors on Feb 25. The shoot will begin in Mumbai on 25. The film is a love story.” Sources close to the project also confirmed that the makers are aiming to wrap up the filming by the summer of 2025.
