A seven-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in Fasalwadi village of Sangareddy on Thursday (February 20, 2025).
As per preliminary investigation, the girl was playing outside her house when an unidentified man offered her ₹10 currency note before taking her to a secluded spot where he sexually assaulted her, said a police official. Hearing the girl’s cries, the locals rushed and rescued her. She was immediately shifted to the hospital for medical care. The culprit is absconding
The girl was shifted to Sangareddy Government Hospital where she is currently undergoing treatment. The police are yet to receive a complaint and record the statement of the victim, after which a detailed investigation will be launched.
