CID returns on Netflix with ACP Pradyuman, Daya, and Abhijeet. New episodes air Saturdays and Sundays at 10 pm.

All the 90s kids were elated when makers announced the return of CID, a show were a group of investigative officers crack the most intense crime cases with their grit and intelligence. Well, keeping in mind the ever-evolving audience, CID makers have announced that the new season of the show will be available for streaming on Netflix.
Not just this, fresh episodes would be out on the weekends, that is, every Saturday and Sunday at 10 pm. A new promo on Netflix’s Instagram page featured the show’s iconic faces, ACP Praduman (Shivaji Satam), Daya (Dayanand Shetty) and Abhijeet (Aditya Srivastava) reprising their roles as investigative officers. And how can you ever have a CID promo without the iconic ‘Daya, darwaza tod’ moment?
“CID, ab Netflix ke darwaze par bhi Kal se dekhiye CID naye season ke saare released episodes Netflix par bhi! Saath hi naye episodes har Shanivaar aur Ravivaar raat 10 baje (CID will now stream on Netflix starting tomorrow. “Wow! That’s great love CID,” wrote a fan. Another user commented, “But they should also bring s1 all episodes on Netflix too.” Another die-hard CID fan suggested that the show should be remade into a movie, “Thank you Netflix been waiting for this. And I Netflix should make either a CID movie or season 3 where ACP Pradyuman is RAW Chief and Daya, Abhijeet, Pankaj, Purvi etc. are Agents espionage thriller types that would be.” Makers, are you listening?
Meanwhile, CID went off air in 2018 after running successfully for 20 years on Sony TV. It featured late actor Dinesh Phadnis as Inspector Fredricks, Narendra Gupta as Dr. Salunkhe, Hrishikesh Pandey as Sr. Inspector Sachin, Ansha Sayed as Inspector Purvi, Vivek Mashru as Sub-Inspector Vivek and Shraddha Musale as Dr. Tarika, and others.
