BLACKPINK’s Jennie is the last among the quartet to release her first-ever full-length solo album. Scheduled to be released on March 7, Ruby is already making waves with pre-release singles like Mantra and Love Hangover. After the two, the K-pop idol is bringing her fans yet another treat, a brand-new single, ExtraL, from her highly anticipated album. Jennie has teamed up with the Grammy-winning American rapper Doechii for the song.
On February 20, the 29-year-old idol unveiled an exciting teaser for her upcoming single on her social media accounts, giving her fans a peek into what to expect. The few-second clip instantly captured her fans’ attention, setting the stage for what promises to be an empowering anthem. The teaser began with a mysterious woman tapping her foot on the ground wearing high heels. It also featured the two artists posing during a photoshoot, both of them wearing white chic outfits. The video ended with a zoomed-in shot showcasing Jennie’s teeth adorned with ‘XL’ clips.
The upbeat track, with the lyrics “Do my, do my ladies run this, ladies run this”, created much buzz among the fans. Jennie dropped the teaser with the same lyrics in the caption. With just a few seconds of audio, ExtraL has already ignited massive excitement among the fans, leaving them eager for the full release.

The K-pop idol’s latest collaboration with the rising rap sensation, who has gone viral for her tracks like Yucky Blucky Fruitcake, What It Is (Block Boy), and Denial Is a River, has left buzzing with excitement.
Doechii is one of the many international artists collaborating with BLACKPINK’s Jennie on her first solo album. Dua Lipa, Childish Gambino, Dominic Fike, FKJ, and Kali Uchis are the artists who have worked with the idol for her upcoming album featuring 15 songs.
