In an exciting piece of news, Sharvari is likely to star opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in Sooraj Barjatya’s next untitled film. The collaboration marks a fresh pairing in the industry, generating buzz among fans. Nothing has been made official till now. Pinkvilla has reported that the film is a timeless love story set against the backdrop of families.
The entertainment portal has quoted a source saying, “Over the years, Sooraj Barjatya has worked with incredibly talented actors of Indian Cinema – from Madhuri Dixit and Bhagyashree, to Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Rao, and Karisma Kapoor – and the latest to have gotten the chance to be a Sooraj Barjatya heroine is Sharvari. The actress tick-marked all boxes of what the director wanted, specifically the aspect of bringing vulnerability and innocence to this heartfelt romantic film.”
“The industry has been bullish about Sharvari since last year and a legendary director like Sooraj Barjatya choosing her as the heroine of his film is the biggest stamp of approval that Sharvari is one of the best new actors of India,” the source added.
“Sooraj Barjatya’s next will mark the collaboration of Ayushmann and Sharvari for the first time and both the talents are excited to embark on the journey with the legendary filmmaker,” the source further said. The report also claims that now the director will move on to get a brilliant cast on board.
Talking about Ayushmann’s workfront, the actor will be next seen in a yet-to-be-titled action comedy film opposite actress Sara Ali Khan. Backed by Karan Johar and helmed by Aakash Kaushik, the film will be released later this year.
Apart from that, he also has a horror comedy film titled Thama in his kitty. Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, it also features Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siqqidui in lead roles. It will be hitting the theatres on the occasion of Diwali 2025.
Sharvari will be next seen in Alpha with Alia Bhatt. The shoot has been going on and the actress is also undergoing intense workout.
