Sivakarthikeyan is celebrating his 39th birthday today, February 17, 2025. On the special day, his film with director A R Murugadoss got a new title as it was earlier tentatively named SK23. Sivakarthikeyan’s new film is now called Madharasi. The much-anticipated Tamil movie recently dropped its title reveal with a teaser.
Madharasi will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), makers of the film, Sri Lakshmi Movies, unveiled the first look at Sivakarthikeyan’s next. While the makers have kept the plot under wraps, the first glimpse hints at an intense spy thriller. The visuals suggest a gripping narrative filled with action, mystery, and high-stakes drama. The clip showcases Sivakarthikeyan in a never-seen-before rugged avatar, going all guns blazing and taking on formidable challenges. The actor pulls off high-octane stunts with finesse.
Adding to the excitement, the teaser also offers a glimpse of Vidyut Jammwal, who steps into the shoes of the antagonist. The clip is packed with adrenaline-pumping action, featuring intense bomb blasts, rapid gunfire, and high-speed car flips.

For those who might not know, Madharsi marks the first-ever collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and ace filmmaker AR Murugadoss. The action-packed film is both written and directed by Murugadoss. Initially slated for a grand Diwali 2024 release, the makers later decided to push it to 2025.
