Monalisa Bhosle, 16, from Madhya Pradesh, will debut in “The Diary of Manipur” by Sanoj Mishra. She impressed a Kerala event audience by speaking Malayalam.

Monalisa Bhosle, a 16-year-old from Khargone district in Madhya Pradesh, made headlines during the Prayagraj Mahakumbh due to her stunning beauty, particularly her eyes. However, she later faced harassment which forced her family to leave Prayagraj. Monalisa is about to make her mark on the silver screen now.

Before that, she recently made a stunning appearance at an event as a special guest. Monalisa took her first-ever flight as she travelled to Kozhikode, Kerala, on February 14. She was going there for a shop inauguration event hosted by businessman Boby Chemmanur, who had earlier announced her visit in an Instagram video.

At the event, Monalisa stunned the Kerala audience by speaking Malayalam on the stage. She also got a complete makeover and looked every bit gorgeous.

Monalisa Bhosle has bagged a lead role in the upcoming film, The Diary of Manipur. It is directed by Sanoj Mishra, known for his previous work on The Diary of West Bengal. Monalisa will be the leading lady opposite Rajkummar Rao’s brother, Amit Rao, who makes his debut with this in showbiz. Details about the film remain under wraps.

Monalisa is now set to begin shooting for the film in February. Director Sanoj Mishra recently met Monalisa and her family at their home to discuss the project.

“Bahut hi innocent log hain yeah, banjare hai! I was impressed with her innocence, simplicity and natural looks but what followed was horrible and so disturbing. So, I searched for her and met her parents and family members about the film and all aspects. Now, I have more responsibility to present her and make her career. I’m starting her workshop in Indore for a fortnight and after that we will shift her to Mumbai where the workshop will continue,” Sanoj told HT City.

He added, “We are starting the film in London with Amit Rao for a week and from April the film will be shot from start-to-end in Manipur.
