Prateek and Aishwarya pitched their agro-tech brands on Shark Tank India, seeking Rs 60 lakh for 1%. They accepted Namita Thapar’s offer with royalties despite mixed reactions.

Anupam Mittal is a judge on Shark Tank India 4.

Prateek and Aishwarya, a married couple, presented their agro-tech brands Greenday and Better Nutrition on Shark Tank India Season 4. They asked for Rs 60 lakh for a 1% stake, which values their business at Rs 60 crore. Prateek also shared that he met Aishwarya on Shaadi.com and convinced her to move to a village with him for over two years, where they studied agriculture closely and began producing nutrient-rich grains.

They explained that by working with local farmers, their revenue jumped from Rs 80 lakh to Rs 14 crore in one year. They had already raised Rs 4 crore and had commitments for another Rs 6 crore. They also received backing from Olympic medalist PV Sindhu, who became a brand ambassador, and MasterChef Pankaj Bhadouria endorsed their company. Namita Thapar was the first shark to make them an offer, although her deal included royalties.

Kunal Bahl later said he almost invested in their business a few months ago but wanted to see more growth. Before sharing his thoughts, Kunal Bahl commented, “Smart people sometimes get stuck in bad businesses. You need a hard reset.”

Peyush Bansal also expressed doubts about the founders and said he couldn’t invest because he wasn’t comfortable with their strategy. Meanwhile, Anupam Mittal first joked about their time in the village. Prior to making his point, Anupam Mittal joked. “Be honest, you were just on an extended honeymoon.”

On a more serious note, he explained that he couldn’t make an offer because their valuation was too high and he didn’t want to upset previous investors.

Prateek and Aishwarya asked Namita and Vineeta to team up with them, but Namita initially said no. In the end, they accepted her offer—even with the royalties—because she showed strong confidence in the company.

A shocked Peyush said, “Everyone has a lucky day.” Namita replied, “I seem to be having a lot lately.”
