Last year, a few reports claimed that producer Sajid Nadiadwala put Sanki shoot on hold due to Ahan Shetty’s high entourage costs. Suniel Shetty’s son has now broken his silence on the matter.

Ahan shetty REACTS to claims that Sanki shoot was put on hold due to his high entourage costs.

Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty, who will next be seen in Border 2 along with Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh, recently held an AMA session with his fans on Instagram, during which he answered their questions. During this interaction, he was asked about his film Sanki, which was reportedly put on hold. Last year, several reports claimed that producer Sajid Nadiadwala put the film shoot on hold due to Ahan Shetty’s high entourage costs. Ahan has now reacted to those claims. Meanwhile, he also revealed whether he will be a part of Hera Pheri 3 along with his father Suniel Shetty.

On Saturday, one fan asked Ahan Shetty, “Deets about Sanki.” While the actor did not give any deets, he did clarify that his ‘entourage costs’ had nothing to do with why they stopped filming for Sanki. “Let’s just say my “entourage cost” wasn’t why we stopped filming,” he said, setting the record straight. Meanwhile, another fan asked if he will have a cameo in Hera Pheri 3 as Suniel Shetty’s character Shyam’s son. “Will you do cameo in Hera Pheri 3 as son of Shyam?!” to which Ahan replied, “That would be really cool…let’s see what the future holds.” Check out his Instagram stories below!

Last year, Bollywood Hungama claimed that producer Sajid Nadiadwala had promised his “old friend” Sunil that he would give a second chance to Ahan after his debut movie Tadap did not work well at the box office. “It was when Sajid saw his leading man’s entourage costs that he lost his patience. Ahan’s staff costs – (hair, make-up, spot, stylist, driver, chef, trainer etc.), which were billed to production, were so high that Sajid threatened to pull the plug on the film, adding that it made no business sense to produce this project,” an insider told the portal. Although this report surfaced last year, Ahan remained silent at the time. He has now finally broken his silence on the matter.

Meanwhile, during the question-answer session on Instagram, Ahan was also asked which of his father’s movies he loves the most. He replied, “Border, Hera Pheri, Main Hoon Na, Awara Paagal Deewana.” When asked what makes Border 2 special for him, Ahan replied, “Carrying my father’s legacy forward…it’s a dream come true for me to be a part of this film and to work with some of the finest in our industry.” He also revealed that apart from Border 2, he will also begin shooting for another film in the second half of 2025.

Ahan made his acting debut with the action romance film ‘Tadap’ opposite Tara Sutaria. The film, helmed by Milan Luthria, released in 2021.
