Harshvardhan Rane to star in Deewaniyat
Harshvardhan Rane announced his next romantic musical drama Deewaniyat on Valentine’s Day. The film will be released this year in theatres and other details are kept under wrap. Along with the announcement, the actor has also shared a motion poster. Fans were super excited as the announcement was made. Currently, Harshvardhan Rane is enjoying the success of his film Sanam Teri Kasam which has been re-released in the theatres.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Harshvardhan Rane shared the motion poster in which we can hear this voice in the background. He promises to love his woman even if she breaks his heart. Many celebrities including John Abraham have congratulated the team on Sanam Teri Kasam re-release. Anil Kapoor has also reacted send best wishes to the team. Taking to his Instagram stories, Anil Kapoor shared the poster of the film and wrote, “Congratulations to @deepakmukut and the entire Sanam Teri Kasam team on its re-release! The film has already won hearts, and its success is truly well-earned. Wishing @harshvardhanrane, @mawrellous, @sohamrockstrent, @hunarmukut, and everyone involved even more milestones ahead!” Other than Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, the movie stars Anurag Sinha, Manish Chaudhari, Murli Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Shraddha Das and Sudesh Berry in key roles.
When Sanam Teri Kasam was first released in 2016, it made just Rs 9 crore. However, according to Sacnilk, the re-release has surprised everyone by collecting Rs 30.85 crore so far and it is expected to earn even more. The movie is now the second highest earning re-release in India, just behind last year’s hit Tumbbad, which made about Rs 32 crore. It has also surpassed Thalapathy Vijay’s Ghilli and Ranbir Kapoor’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani records.
Amid this, the makers have confirmed that the sequel of the film is also in pipeline. The script is ready and will be released in 2026 on Valentine’s Day.
