Rupali Ganguly visits Maha Kumbh Mela

Rupali Ganguly, best known for her role in Anupamaa, recently visited the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela. She was seen performing an aarti and her photos have also gone viral. The actress opted for a simple and comfortable look for the spiritual occasion. Till now many celebrities have visited the Kumbh Mela.

Rupali Ganguly looked stunning in a simple salwar kurta. She was seen performing aarti with other gurus. She was spotted barefoot, with a dupatta covering her head. Well, the actress has been grabbing headlines more for her personal reasons. Her stepdaughter Esha Verma recently took to her Instagram stories to pen down a note of disappointment. Esha called the Anupamaa actress ‘evil’ and slammed her for scheduling the next court hearing on her birthday. “Ty to the evil step lady for scheduling the next court date on my bday muah,” she wrote.

Take a look at the photos here:

The controversy between Rupali Ganguly and her stepdaughter Esha Verma, who is Ashwin Verma’s second wife Priyanka Verma’s daughter, started late last year after the latter claimed that the actress broke their home. She also called the Anupamaa lead actor an ‘abusive and toxic woman’.

Later, Rupali also filed a defamation case against Esha for Rs 50 crore following which the latter deleted her Instagram post. In January this year, the Bombay High Court granted an interim relief to Rupali in this defamation suit against Esha. The court restrained Verma and digital platforms from publishing or sharing defamatory content.

Later, Rupali also addressed Esha’s claims at an event when she said, “If I say it doesn’t affect (me), it will be a lie. Of course, it affects (me). We are all human beings. It hurts when they say bad things, even behind my back. Those who love me will continue to do so. I believe in doing good deeds because then good things will happen to you now or in the future. Sometimes a bad phase does come, and bad things do happen, but good always wins over that.”
