Allu Aravind said that he shares a great bond with his nephew Ram Charan,

A few days ago, during a pre-release event of Allu Aravind’s recent production Thandel, the producer made a comment that didn’t go down well with Ram Charan’s fans. Now, Allu Aravind has finally addressed the comments, reacting to claims that he took a dig at his nephew Ram Charan for the failure of Shankar’s Game Changer. He revealed that he was trolled by the Mega family fans, and clarified that the comments he made during the event were ‘unintentional’.

At a press conference held in Hyderabad, Allu Aravind said, “This is emotional and personal to me, I need to address this. That day, when I addressed Dil Raju, I only meant that he saw loss and gain within a week. I was trolled so much for it, but the implication of it was unintentional.” He further went on to add that he shares a great bond with Ram Charan, and that the Game Changer star is like a son to him. “Charan is like my son…he is my only menalludu (sister’s son), I am his only mavayya (maternal uncle). Our relationship is excellent, so please leave it alone. I understand now that I should not have brought it up at all,” he said.

What did Allu Aravind Say About Ram Charan’s Game Changer?

For the unversed, during the pre-release event of Thandel last week, Allu Aravind brought up the failure of S Shankar’s action film Game Changer, featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, and produced by Dil Raju. In a video that went viral on X, Allu Aravind said in Telugu, “Dil Raju made history recently. One movie of his was like this” (gestures down, hinting at Game Changer), “while another movie was like this” (gestures up, referring to Sankranthi Vastunam). He got raided by the Income Tax (department). A lot happened in a week,” he added with a smile. Ram Charan’s fans trolled Allu Aravind, claiming that he took a dig at his nephew.

Allu Aravind’s recent production, ‘Thandel’, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, hit the theatres on February 7. Helmed by Chandoo Mondeti, the storyline of Thandel is inspired by real-life events that took place in the village of D Matchilesam in the Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. The producer of Thandel is Bunny Vasu under Geetha Arts and it is presented by Allu Aravind.
