Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Chhaava. The actor has worked extremely hard for this role, leaving no stone unturned while prepping for this film, and his latest Instagram post is proof! Vicky Kaushal shared several video clips on Instagram, giving fans a sneak-peek into his intense prep. His commitment and dedication left fans mighty impressed! One video, however, has garnered the most attention. It shows the actor getting his ears pierced for the film, and his reaction is unmissable!
Vicky Kaushal took to his Instagram on Sunday, to share several BTS videos, giving a glimpse of his preparation for Chhaava. The eighth slide shows Vicky getting his ears pierced. The actor let out a hissing sound, and was visibly in pain as the piercing gun pushed the stud through the earlobe. He shut his eyes and took in the momentary pain. After it subsided, the actor checked out his piercings in the mirror. The first few photos show him during his workout at the gym. The third picture shows Vicky standing on a weighing scale, proudly revealing that he has reached his weight goal of 100 kg for this film.
Another video shows him working out while enjoying a Marathi song, while another one shows him learning some battle moves. He also learnt how to ride a horse, for Chhaava. Sharing the videos, Vicky Kaushal wrote, “Good old #Chhaava prep days! See you all on 14th Feb. WORLDWIDE ADVANCE BOOKINGS ARE NOW OPEN!”

Ahead of the release of his upcoming movie Chhaava, Vicky Kaushal has been travelling across the country to promote his film. He was recently in Patna, where he was seen relishing a plate of litti chokha at a stall in the city. The actor shared a video of him enjoying the local delicacy on his social media. “#Patna aakar Litti Chokha kaise miss kar jaayein??? #Chhaava,” he wrote.

Helmed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is a historical drama that revolves around the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the film, Vicky Kaushal is set to portray the character of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the Maratha empire’s founder. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in key roles.
Chhaava will hit theatres on February 14, 2025.
