
Kerala Gramin Bank (KGB) won five awards at the 20th Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) Banking Technology Awards held in Mumbai. The awards KGB won were for the best technology bank, best tech talent and organisation, best digital sales, payments and engagement, best fintech and digital public infrastructure (DPI) adaptation, and best digital financial inclusion.
KGB chairperson Vimala Vijayabhaskar and her technology team received the awards from Reserve Bank of India Deputy Governor T. Rabi Sankar. IBA chairman M.V. Rao, jury head and IIT Bombay Professor Deepak B. Phatak, and IBA deputy chief executive Gopal Bhagat were present.
