Rajkummar Rao is the latest addition to the list of celebrities who visited the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela. For his spiritual visit, the actor was joined by his wife Patralekhaa. The couple took the holy dip at the Triveni Sangam and stayed at Chidanand Saraswati Maharaj camp during his time in Prayagraj. There, he also met Parmarth Niketan who shared a bunch of pictures on social media featuring a few glimpses from their meeting.

In the subsequent photos, they are seen performing rituals followed by taking a dip in the holy water. The last two slides showcase them enjoying a boat ride for which they were joined by Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji. The caption of the post read, “Wonderful to welcome dear and renowned Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao and his wife and actress Patralekhaa and divine yogini Ira Trivedi to Parmarth Niketan Mahakumbh Campsite with sacred blessings by HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji as well as special sangam snan with Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati.”
During his visit, Rajkummar Rao also shared his experience of visiting the Mahakumbh Mela while speaking with ANI. He said, “The atmosphere here is very good. When I went to Maha Kumbh last time with my wife, that experience changed my life.”
He added, “We met Swamiji in Rishikesh and since then we have been meeting him. We took Swami ji’s blessings and now we will take a holy bath…it is organised on such a large scale…My best wishes are with all the people and the administration…”
Before Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa, celebrities like Hema Malini, Anupam Kher, Bhagyashree and Milind Soman, as well as poet Kumar Vishwas, cricketer Suresh Raina, wrestler Khali, choreographer Remo D’Souza and Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara, Mamta Kulkarni also visited the sacred site.
Coming back to RajKummar Rao and Patralekhaa, the couple tied the knot on November 15, 2021 in a dreamy ceremony in Chandigarh with only close friends and family in attendance. Before the wedding, the duo dated for nearly a decade. The duo was also seen together in Patralekhaa’s debut Bollywood film, CityLights, in 2014.
Last seen in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Rajkummar Rao will next entertain fans with his role in Toaster alongside Sanya Malhotra.
