Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh 20-Point Program Implementation Committee Lanka Dinakar on Saturday hailed the BJP’s victory in the Delhi Assembly elections and described it as a decisive mandate for a “double engine government.”
In a statement here, Mr. Dinakar congratulated the BJP leaders and workers on their success. After 28 years, the people of Delhi overwhelmingly endorsed the BJP with a 70% seat majority, he said. The Delhi voters rejected the “corruption-ridden” leadership of Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), he added.
Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a Viksit Bharat, Mr. Dinakar said the people of Delhi showed their support for the national agenda.
Dig at INDIA bloc
Mr. Dinakar took a dig at the Congress-led INDIA bloc stating that its “conspiracies and deceitful tactics” failed as evidenced by the BJP’s victories in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, followed by the recent wins in Maharashtra and Haryana.
Mr. Dinakar expressed his gratitude to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for campaigning in support of the BJP in Delhi.
