In the video, Rishi Kapoor is seen enjoying a plate of biryani while soaking in the moment in New York. He can be heard praising the chef. Sharing the clip on Instagram Stories, Neetu wrote, “When @samosastories cooked for Rishi ji in NYC.”
Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor got married in 1980. The couple dated for seven years before tying the knot. They welcomed their first child, a daughter, Riddhima Kapoor, in 1980, and a son, Ranbir Kapoor, in 1982. Rishi Kapoor passed away from leukaemia on April 30, 2020, at the age of 67.

During an old interview with Rediff, Neetu Kapoor recalled the shooting days of her film Yaarana and shared that she left the shoot early and returned to Mumbai because she didn’t want to be away from her fiancé, Rishi Kapoor, at that time.
“I remember we were in Calcutta shooting that stage song in a stadium (Yaarana). We were sitting together, and I was crying, with tears flowing down my face. I had recently been engaged and didn’t want to be away from Chintu (Rishi Kapoor). The phones in Calcutta were not working. And Chintu was furious because he couldn’t reach me. Amit asked why I was crying. I said, ‘I want to go back.’ He said, ‘You will,’ said Neetu Kapoor.
Neetu Kapoor was last seen in the drama film JugJugg Jeeyo alongside Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor.
The actress will be next seen in Letters To Mrs Khanna, which is a coming-of-age story about a mother and son. The project is headlined by Sunny Kaushal.
