Himesh Reshammiya is back on screen with Badass Ravi Kumar and is generating a lot of attention since its release. The film, starring Himesh in the eponymous role and Prabhu Deva as the antagonist, is intended to take spectators on a nostalgic journey full of action and fun. Badass Ravi Kumar is officially in theaters, and it appears to be a complete entertainer for the crowd.

Recently, footage from Mumbai’s Iconic Gaiety Galaxy Theatre went viral. It shows the audience dancing to the catchy tunes from the film while Himesh Reshammiya performed on screen. According to Taran, Himesh Reshammiya’s film is a ‘masala entertainment’ with ‘seetimaar dialogues’, lively music, and high-quality action sequences. “A wild, crazy, over-the-top ride that transports you to the cinema of the 1980s… Don’t ask questions or look for logic… Extra points for its high-energy songs and seetimaar dialogues. #BadassRaviKumarReview,” he wrote. He added, ““If you’ve seen the trailer, songs and dialogue promos, you already know what to expect from #BadassRaviKumar… This film plays out like a tribute to the masala entertainers of the 1980s – where the hero makes the impossible possible!”

Prabhu Deva excels as Carlos Pedro Panther, the larger-than-life antagonist whose menace and elegance steal the show. Kirti Kulhari excels as Laila, a lively and fearless character. Meanwhile, Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever, Manish Wadhwa, Anil George, Rajesh Sharma, Prashant Narayan, Saurabh Sachdevaa and Sunny Leone play a pivotal role in the film.

These characters, with their memorable names and distinct personas, are a tribute to the colorful storytelling of the gone era. The film is directed by Keith Gomes and produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies and was released on February 7.
