A few weeks before its theatrical release, the trailer was launched, and it received immense love from the audience. Talking about Vicky’s upcoming movie Chhava, the historical drama revolves around the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the movie, Vicky Kaushal will portray the character of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the Maratha empire’s founder. Besides Vicky, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in key roles. Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhava marks another collaboration between Vicky and Utekar following their recent comedy-romance hit Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (2023).
Looking ahead, the actor is set to start shooting for director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next, Love and War. The upcoming project will cast Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. He also has Mahavatar in the pipeline.
