In a trailer for The Kardashians, Kim opened up about the challenges she has been facing amid her daughter’s growing career.

Kim Kardashian is getting overwhelmed by the attention her eldest daughter, North West, has been getting. However, things aren’t going as planned, as the SKIMS co-founder is not ready to become a “momager”. For those unaware, Kim Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner not just helmed the Kardashian-Jenner empire, but was also the manager of her six kids, including Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie.
Kim Kardashian, who has been raising her four kids following a separation from her ex-husband Kanye West, recently opened up about how she has been trying to balance the career of her 11-year-old daughter alongside herself. “I thought I was busy before. North, me having to be her momager right now is crazy. It’s just, it was not on my list. It was not on my Bingo card for this year,” Kim said in the new trailer for The Kardashians discussing her situation with her mother Kris Jenner, and sister Khloe.
When Kris Jenner and her sister Khloe added that it requires a lot of energy and work to manage, Kim explained that she is not ready yet as it has been challenging for her to prioritise career opportunities for her daughter over her personal life.
“I’m really conflicted on my daughter’s career, so we’re going to talk about that soon. I just really want to make sure that everything’s really well balanced. All of the work experiences are balanced out with just enough fun life experiences. I just want balance,” she said.
Kim Kardashian’s confessions come at a time when her daughter has had a busy year, beginning from her casting as a young Simba in The Lion King production followed by West’s song Talking / Once Again and FKA twigs’ song Childlike Things.
Earlier in a podcast, the 44-year-old acknowledged being unable to protect North because of her fame, explaining that her children came into the spotlight at a young age.
Kim revealed how she tries to sit and talk about the engagements as a family. “I try to protect that and be so mindful…like them being their own people and them not feeling like they have to, you know, be in our shadows,” she added.
