The Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival, one of India’s most celebrated cultural events, is set to return for its 7th edition from February 7 to 9, 2025. Conceptualized and produced by SEHER, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, and supported by Hindustan Zinc Ltd, the festival is a vibrant celebration of music, heritage, and cultural exchange.
This year’s festival carries the theme of “Preservation and Propagation of Forgotten Musical Instruments and Traditions of Rajasthan”, shining a spotlight on indigenous instruments like the Sarangi while also featuring an impressive lineup of international artists from over 15 countries.
A Global Musical Extravaganza in Rajasthan
As the only festival in India that brings world music directly to Rajasthan’s heartland, the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival offers a unique opportunity for audiences to experience diverse musical traditions from across the globe. The event will feature performances by over 22 bands, including renowned artists from Argentina, Iran, Sweden, Spain, Ivory Coast, Kurdistan, Germany, Hungary, Reunion Island, and many more.

Alongside global talent, the festival will showcase some of India’s most celebrated musicians, including Shaan, Karsh Kale, Kanika Kapoor, Faridkot, Sukriti-Prakriti, Rithvik Raja, and Western Ghats.

Morning Sessions: Manji ka Ghat (Feb 8 & 9, 8 AM – 10 AM) – Overlooking the stunning City Palace, Jag Mandir, and heritage hotels, this serene riverside venue provides a breathtaking backdrop for soulful morning performances.
Afternoon Sessions: Fateh Sagar Paal (Feb 8 & 9, 3 PM – 5 PM) – Known for its tranquil waters and scenic beauty, this venue offers a relaxing atmosphere for afternoon concerts.
Evening Concerts: Gandhi Ground (Feb 7-9, 6 PM – 10 PM) – A vibrant hub for cultural and sports events, this centrally located venue is the festival’s main stage, hosting electrifying performances by top artists.
