It’s official – BLACKPINK is coming back and they’re taking the world by storm in 2025. The iconic K-pop group made a jaw-dropping announcement that has left their global fanbase buzzing. Despite going their separate ways from YG Entertainment in recent times, the quartet of Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rose are not breaking up. Instead, they’re reuniting for a monumental world tour, and fans couldn’t be more thrilled. The excitement reached a fever pitch when the group dropped a teaser video on February 5, confirming their long-awaited return to the stage. With just a 21-second visual, BLACKPINK left fans on the edge of their seats.

The video starts with pure darkness before the camera reveals an aerial shot of a colossal, open-air stadium, packed with thousands of screaming fans. Slowly, the scene shifts to the group performing on stage, creating an electrifying atmosphere. As the screen fades to black, a spotlight emerges, showing the four members’ silhouettes with the signature BLACKPINK logo glowing in hot pink. The final touch? A simple message in the same vibrant pink: “2025 World Tour.”

While dates and locations remain under wraps for now, one thing’s certain, BLINKs (BLACKPINK fans) are already gearing up for the spectacle of a lifetime.

Fans wasted no time flooding the comments on YouTube, expressing their excitement. “OMG, We were all waiting for our Queens, and now we’re gonna have a Great comeback!” one fan exclaimed. Another added, “The queens are back!”

For the past year, the members of BLACKPINK have been pursuing individual projects, but that hasn’t stopped them from staying connected. Jennie took the acting world by storm with her debut role in HBO’s The Idol in 2023, while also releasing solo music collaborations. Rose, who dropped her debut solo album Rosie in December 2024, featured the hit song “APT” with Bruno Mars. Lisa is preparing for the release of her solo album Alter Ego later this month, along with an appearance in the upcoming season of The White Lotus. Meanwhile, Jisoo is gearing up for the Valentine’s Day release of her mini-album AMORTAGE, informs Billboard.

Despite their solo endeavours, the bond among the members has remained strong. In a January interview with Billboard, Jennie shared how the group stays close even when they’re working on separate projects. “Even though we know we can’t see each other so much, it doesn’t really feel any different than all the other years because we know we’re here for each other. They’re literally a phone call away. And at this point, we respect each other’s space so much. So if there’s anything to be happy for, to celebrate, we’re all in it together,” she said.

In a similar vein, Lisa echoed these sentiments in her November Billboard cover story, confirming that the group’s reunion in 2025 was something she and BLINKs had eagerly awaited. “I can’t wait,” she confessed, sharing the same anticipation for the comeback.

With all these exciting individual projects and the promise of a massive world tour, 2025 is shaping up to be an unforgettable year for BLACKPINK and its ever-loyal fanbase.
