South Korean dating reality show, Single’s Inferno, which started on January 14, has been grabbing attention for its drama and romance among the contestants. While the current season is still a few days away from its finale, Netflix and production company Start Company have already started preparing for Season 5. Reports reveal that the next season will likely be released before the end of 2025. Despite Season 4 still airing, the success of the show has led the team to speed up production for the next season. Fans can expect more drama as the team is looking for contestants in their 20s and 30s.
As per MoneyS, a Netflix representative shedding light in the upcoming season said, “We are still finalizing details, so we cannot provide further information at this time.”
Single’s Inferno, where contestants go through various emotions and tasks on a remote Island, has become one of Netflix’s most popular shows. According to Good Data Corporation, it ranks Number 1 in the TV-OTT non-drama category for the fifth week of January 2025. Interestingly, it has stayed at the top for three weeks in a row. Yook Jun-seo and Lee Si-an have become popular contestants.
Ahead of season 4’s release, producer Kim Jae-won, Kim Jung-hyun and Park Suji had shared that “the core of Single’s Inferno’s success is the captivating cast” and “Season 4 will be the hottest season yet.” They added that “in Season 4, you will get to see conflicts you can only find in real-life relationships.”
Season 1 of Single’s Inferno was just the beginning, while Season 2 brought a lot of relationship drama. Season 3 was unforgettable due to its shocking twists and now, Season 4 features intense and honest interactions between the contestants.
For season 4, Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, Kyuhyun, Hanhae and Dex returned as the show’s panellists, who often shared their opinion about the contestants. Other than Yook Jun-seo and Lee Si-an, the show also features Kim Tae-hwan, Kook Dong-ho, Jang Tae-oh, Kim Jung-soo, Ahn Jong-hoon, Jung Yoo-jin, Kim Min-seol, Bae Ji-yeon, Kim Hye-jin, Kim Ah-rin and Park Hae-rin.
