Ishaan Khatter is gearing up for the release of his upcoming project The Royals. On Tuesday, the makers unveiled the teaser of the highly anticipated web series, garnering reactions from fans and celebrities alike. Now, Shahid Kapoor has shared his thoughts on The Royals teaser. The actor gave a special shoutout to his brother, Ishaan Khatter.
Shahid shared the teaser of The Royals on Instagram Stories and wrote, “Looking like a true royal Ishaan Khatter.” He added, “All the best to the entire cast and crew of the Royals – Zeenat Aman, Bhumi Pednekar, Sakshi Tanwar.”
Ishaan’s rumoured ladylove Chandni Bainz also reshared The Royals teaser on Instagram Stories. Chandni expressed how impressed she was with the teaser and showed her full support and admiration for Ishaan’s work. “We ain’t ready,” she exclaimed, along with a fire emoji.
Directed by Nupur Asthana and Priyanka Ghose, The Royals is all set to bring forth the new-age romance. In the romantic comedy series, Ishaan essays the role of Aviraaj Singh, the carefree heir to the royal throne of Morpur. Bhumi Pednekar, on the other hand, plays Sophia Kanmani Shekhar, a sharp, driven CEO of a luxury homestay startup. The duo teams up to save Aviraaj’s royally dysfunctional family from financial collapse while also saving Sophia’s luxury homestay startup in India from shark investment bankers. The modern-day Indian royalty rom-com series shows the undeniable on-screen chemistry between Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khatter.
Joining Bhumi and Ishaan in the film are some of the well-known personalities, including the legendary actress Zeenat Aman. Nora Fatehi, Dino Morea, Chunky Panday, Sakshi Tanwar, Milind Soman, Vihaan Samat, Sumukhi Suresh, Udit Arora, Kavya Trehan, Lisa Mishra, and Luke Kenny are also part of the film.
