Personnel of the Hyderabad Disaster Response & Asset Protection Agency apprehended truck drivers dumping soil in Umdasagar lake at Jalpally on the night of February 3.
Four tippers were seized along with an excavator which was being used for levelling the soil. The seized vehicles have been handed over to the Bandlaguda police station, and cases have been filed, a statement from HYDRAA informed.
In another instance, the disaster response forces nabbed another truck driver dumping debris in Devulapally Cheruvu in Petbasheerabad, and handed over the seized vehicle to the Petbasheerabad police, the note said.
