Grammy Awards 2025: Lady Gaga Calls Bruno Mars A ‘Musician For The Ages’

Both Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga shared heartfelt words for each other at the 67th Grammy Awards.

Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga, who collaborated for the first time on the chart-topping hit track Die With A Smile, were honoured at the 67th Grammy Awards in the best pop duo/group performance category. Following their win, both Mars and Gaga expressed gratitude with their heartfelt speeches. The two shared a twinning moment at the Grammys in their respective black-coloured outfits.

The two singers took centre stage at the award ceremony on February 2 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. After receiving the prestigious honour, Mars thanked Gaga for working with him. He expressed his heartfelt sentiments, saying, “I’m so honoured to be a part of this song with you. I’m so honoured to have a small part in your giant musical legacy, and I really, truly believe that God gave us the song to sing together,” adding, “So thank you so much.”

The 38-year-old singer reciprocated the same feelings as her collaborator, highlighting that the Talking to the Moon singer is a great human being and an incredible artist. She mentioned, “Bruno, you are an incredible human being. You’re a musician for the ages. I don’t know music without Bruno.”

Additionally, in her acceptance speech, Gaga also gushed about her fiance Michael Polansky, saying, “Michael, I love you so much, all your support and love every single day.”The Bad Romance singer continued, “It is a privilege to be a songwriter and a producer, a musician. It’s such an honour to sing for all of you.”

Furthermore, she paid tribute to the queer community at the 67th Grammys, which received a huge round of applause from the audience members. Gaga said, “And I just want to say tonight that trans people are not invisible. Trans people deserve love. The queer community. Deserves to be lifted up.” She concluded her speech by emphasising, “Music is love. Thank you.”

This year, many talented artists were nominated under the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category alongside Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. The nominees were Us by Gracie Abrams feat. Taylor Swift, LEVII’S JEANS by Beyoncé feat. Post Malone, Guess by Charli XCX and Billie Eilish, and The Boy Is Mine by Ariana Grande, Brandy and Monica.

Moreover, during the Grammys 2025, the singer duo captivated the audience with a beautiful performance on California Dreamin’ by The Mamas & The Papas, paying tribute to those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires in early January.
