Sudesh Lehri appeared on Archana Puran Singh’s YouTube show, sharing his journey from poverty to success, including hardships, various jobs, and a traumatic incident in Paris.

Sudesh Lehri is a popular comedian.

Popular comedian Sudesh Lehri was the recent guest on Archana Puran Singh’s YouTube show. Titled Sudesh Lehri Ki Kahani – Ek Thappad, Ek Sapna, Aur Ek Safar, the 23-minute video was all about fun and laughter as Archana joined in with her husband, Parmeet Sethi, and sons Ayushmaan Sethi and Aaryamann Sethi.

Sudesh recently spoke with Archana Puran Singh and her family, reflecting on his journey. He shared, “I have said this several times that I have worked really hard to be where I am today. When I started my career, I struggled so much that I became bankrupt, my house was sold. Everybody laughed at me. But, when Archana Puran Singh laughed at me, I made many houses.”

He also commented on Archana’s impressive bungalow in Madh Island, saying, “I always doubted whether or not you are rich, but today, it has been confirmed that you are indeed rich. I have seen such homes only in films.”

During the conversation, Sudesh shared, “I have done a lot of hard work when I was young. I have seen poverty. I have worked in small shops, used to make tea, I have worked in several factories, I used to make footwear. I sold vegetables. The rich don’t have to lie, but being poor we often have to lie when money lenders would ask for money. All this worked like an acting course for me.”

During this segment, Sudesh Lehri recalls the time he was performing in Paris and a drunk man attacked him violently on the stage. He said that he vowed never to perform at weddings after that. “I was singing in Paris and everything was going well until a drunkard came on stage, held my collar and slapped me hard. My mic fell off. It was very humiliating. I wanted to cry but my tears weren’t coming out. The musicians with me wanted to take care of him and took out their drum sticks but I stopped them. I started questioning everything ki kya kar rahe hai. I came home to my wife and told her that I wouldn’t be performing at weddings anymore.”
